The Netgate SG-3100 Security Gateway Appliance can be configured as a firewall, LAN or WAN router, VPN appliance, DHCP Server, DNS Server, and IDS/IPS with optional packages to deliver a high performance, high throughput front-line security appliance at an excellent price in a compact footprint. With preloaded pfSense software, the SG-3100 is a fast networking security solution unencumbered by traditional annual contracts, licensing fees, or artificial limitations. Flexibility is built in to the SG-3100 with upgrade options such as a m.2 SATA SSD, LTE cellular, or mPCIe Wi-Fi.

Firewall Features

Netgate firewall and router distribution based on FreeBSD that is functionally competitive with expensive, proprietary commercial firewalls. pfSense software-based appliances can be configured as a stateful packet filtering firewall, a LAN or WAN router, VPN Appliance, DHCP Server, DNS Server, or can be configured for other applications and special purpose appliances. This next generation pfSense security appliance features include:

The Netgate® SG-1000 microFirewall is a cost-effective, state-of-the-art, ARM®-based, a running pfSense® Security Gateway appliance.

The Netgate SG-1000 comes with dual 1Gbps Ethernet ports, enabling maximum throughput exceeding 100Mbps[1].

The ARM Cortex®-A8 in the TI AM3552 SoC and DDR3L RAM facilitate low-power consumption while maintaining performance.

The Netgate SG-1000 comes in a lightweight anodized aluminum case. It’s credit-card sized footprint allows it to be easily tucked away, but you’ll be proud to show it off. We’ve even bundled iniw a one-year onsite support service and subscription of Netgate security update.
